H2O Sans Frontières takes action since 1998 in the region of Koudougou, in Burkina Faso, for water access and education in a cooperative approach. In January 2020, the association launched its first operation with collective charging stations and solar lamps. In collaboration with Emmaüs Région Sud, three schools of the town of Ramongo were equipped with stations and LK3000 lamps, for lighting and mobile phones charging. The lamps are lent for free to pupils, who are also involved with their class in a culturel exchanges programm with French pupils from the region of Clermont Ferrand. This kind of project was already replicated by H2O Sans Frontières with two additional schools in February 2020. By the beginning of 2021, a third operation will take place and collective charging stations will be installed within 15 schools !
